Logistics companies can benefit from Foreign Trade Zones (FTZs).

FTXs are areas under U.S. Customs and Border Protection's (CBP) surveillance. They are not generally considered to be part of the CBP territorial borders until they are activated. Although companies were able manage their own departments, they still had to share the necessary knowledge. It was essential to provide training for all departments. Huguet recommended that 3PLs be used to reduce "inherent risks" associated with these programs.

Huguet said that U.S.a U.S.FTZ was an affiliated program in the global free trade area. U.S.a U.S.FTZ was praised for its track record of compliance with all sectors, distributors and manufacturers as well as other organizations. They will be able to import their products into America if they so choose. This scheme will allow them to make a profit.

Huguet explained that the process of becoming an FTZ member involves three steps. It is important that you speak with the FTZ board members. The establishment of an FTZ section for operation will be integrated into the existing system in the event that local customs are activated as security.
